Screen Hysteria (2025)
Screen Hysteria is a self-portraiture series that explores the psychological and emotional toll of excessive screen use and digital overload. Through staged and spontaneous images, I examine my relationship with devices and the disconnection, anxiety, overstimulation and numbness that often accompany constant digital engagement. This experimental body of work is both personal and reflective. It responds to the invisible yet persistent pressure to stay online, perform and consume, often at the expense of presence, rest and clarity. Using photography as a mirror, I visualise how screens fragment attention, distort perception and reshape how we see ourselves and others.
